The Resident Season 3 Episode 18 Recap:

Bell, determined to stick to his goal of selling his vitamins, appears on a tv talk show, which seems to get good reactions from fans. Kit and Conrad treat a patient who is diagnosed with having a lot of fluid deposited in his lungs. They later discover that the guy has a mass in his chest. Next, Conrad and AJ tend to another patient, who is in need of a delicate surgery. AJ does an autopsy on the person with the lung mass and the crew waits for the results. It is finally revealed that the patient had cancer.

On the other hand, Bell’s surgery schedule is changed by Lee as the former is quite busy with his tv meetings and cannot give more time to the hospital. AJ gets on with the surgery and notes that the victim has excessive scar tissues. But anyways, the operation is completed successfully with the help of Bell. Bell then takes the stage for his tv show, where he plays the video of the aforementioned surgery. The audience is extremely supportive of Bell and his skills.

Cain is also happy since a surgery on one of his patients is successful. But then he gets a call. His patient has been detected to be carrying a superbug as per the lab reports. The bug might end up infecting the whole hospital! THE END.
