Hosted by The Rock, who also serves as the creator, ‘The Titan Games’ has continued to be a huge hit, right from the day it premiered on NBC in January 2019. The reality competition goes by the tagline, ‘Titans are not born, they are made”. And it has managed to stay true to this adage. Featuring some of the fiercest competitors from across the US, the show comprises a series of toughest, endurance-testing challenges. No wonder, ‘The Titan Games’ manages to keep you on the edge of your seats. Owing to the rave response from fans, it was commissioned for a second installment that dropped in 2020. Now, fans wish to know if they will get another season from the adrenaline-inducing game competition. Let’s dive right into answering this question.

The Titan Games Season 3 Release Date:

‘The Titan Games’ season 2 premiered on May 25, 2020, on NBC. It ended with its 12th episode on August 10, 2020. At the time of writing, the show has not been renewed for its third edition. Moreover, its casting page has not been updated either. But this should not be a reason for concern.

A look at the numbers and the second season managed to average a rating of 0.7 in the 18-49 demo and total viewership of around 4.5 million per episode. Although the figures are slightly down as compared to those of season 1, they are still strong enough to keep the show going. We expect NBC to announce news of renewal soon. Our best estimate is that ‘The Titan Games’ season 3 will most likely release sometime in summer 2021.

The Titan Games Season 3 Cast: Who Can be in it?

Undoubtedly, Dwayne Johnson, who has served as the host for the previous two seasons, will resume his position in season 3. The second season had introduced some twists in the format. The US was segmented into three regions: East, West, and Central. A total of 36 competitors participated in the competition. The winners of the regional rounds raced the Mount Olympus course, against one of The Rock’s Pro Titans — namely, Joe Thomas, Claressa Shields, Tyron Woodley, Hannah Teter, Victor Cruz, and Jessie Graff.

In the finale for season 2, six of the most elite Titans made their final appearances in the competition. They were Dani Speegle, Margaux Alvarez, Courtney Roselle, Matt Chan, Noah Palicia, and Will Sutton. The last-remaining players (two men and two women) participated in Dwayne Johnson’s Mount Olympus. Finally, one male and one female were crowned as the Titan Champions for season 2, winning $100,000 each.

Season 3 is expected to include more changes in the gameplay, to keep the show interesting. Of course, alongside The Rock, we will get to see a fresh batch of the strongest athletes from the US.
