Being a workaholic Bob takes a day off after the family pressurize him to do so. But, he doesn’t know how to handle the day off and ends up at a local sandwich shop. Bod frames the owner Patricia, voiced by Tiffany Haddish, and started work for her. While an overwhelmed Bob works for Patrica, his family sets up a baby shower for a female biker group at the restaurant. As always, Tiffany Haddish steals the episode as the magnetic voice of Patria. Fans can expect more encounters between Patricia and Bob in the renewed tenth season.
2. The Last O.G. (TV Series – 2018 – )
Tiffany Haddish and Tracy Morgan play the made for each other couple in the TBS comedy ‘The Last O.G.‘ The series, which earned a season-two renewal last year, features the nuances of the domestic partnership the pair of the ex-partners, Bobby and Shay, Morgan and Haddish, adjusting to life after Shay is released from prison. The recently released trailer of Season 2 features Shay keeping the letters Bobby sent from prison. On the other hand, Bobby is determined on his decision to become an expert chef. The trailer makes space for enough room for cat-fights, for which the couple is notorious for.
3. The Secret Life of Pets 2 (2019)
In the upcoming sequel of ‘The Secret Life of Pets’ features an ensemble voice cast. Tiffany Haddish lends her mesmerizing voice to the new dog named Daisy. With director Chris Renaud and writer Brian Lynch reprising their roles, ‘The Secret Life of Pets 2’ also features Kevin Hart, Patton Oswalt, Jenny Slate, Eric Stonestreet, Ellie Kemper, Lake Bell, Dana Carvey, Hannibal Burress, Bobby Moynihan, Nick Kroll, Pete Holmes, and, none other than Harrison Ford! 4. The Kitchen (2019)
‘The Kitchen’ features an ensemble cast of Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish and Elisabeth Moss in the lead roles. Based on the Vertigo comic book series, the crime drama is set in the Hell’s kitchen. The plot follows three housewives of the ’70s, who take over the notorious Irish Mafia when their husbands were put behind the bars. Contrary to the underworld’s expectations, the three women deal with bloodthirsty killers and brutal street goons with unmatched voracity. In director Andrea Berloff’s own words, ‘The Kitchen‘ turns upside down the stereotypes like women can’t run a mafia or comedians are not for bloody crime dramas.’
5. Tuca & Bertie (TV Series, 2019 – )
Netflix’s upcoming animated series ‘Tuca & Bertie’ stars Tiffany Haddish and Ali Wong as bird women. Haddish plays Tuca, a cocky, care-free toucan, while Wong is Bertie, the insecure daydreamer songbird. The series is created by Lisa Hanawalt who was the supervising producer of ‘Bojack Horseman.’ Tuca & Bertie centers on the unnatural bond of friendship developing between two 30-year-old bird women who reside in the same apartment. To the surprise of her die-hard fans, Tiffany Haddish takes break from her busy acting days to host a Netflix stand-up special, ‘Tiffany Haddish Presents: They Ready.’ The series consists of six half-hour episodes, with each features an iconic stand-up comedian Haddish has handpicked. The comedians’ list includes Tracey Ashley, April Macie, Flame Monroe, Aida Rodriguez, Chaunté Wayans, and Marlo Williams. Haddish makes her selection from the group of artists with whom she has worked earlier.
