Timothy Alan Dick is the original name of Tim Allen. He is a comedian and actor b profession. In the ABC sitcom House Improvement (1991–1999), he is known for taking part in Tim “The Toolman” Taylor. Allen joined Seaholm High School in Birmingham, where he was in music classes and theater. He then joined Central Michigan University before transferring to Western Michigan University in 1974. Allen received a Bachelor of Science degree in communications in radio and tv production while he worked at the student radio station WIDR and in 1976 at Western Michigan, with a split minor in design and philosophy. Allen had received an honorary Fine Arts degree and the Distinguished Alumni Award by Western Michigan In 1998.
Allen began his profession as a comic in 1975. On a challenge from one of his buddies, he had taken apart in a comedy evening at Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle in Royal Oak, a suburban area of Detroit. He later planned to move to Los Angeles and became a frequent entertainer at The Comedy Store. He began to do stand-up performances on late-night talk shows and special specials on movie and records.
