Born on August 11, 1992 in Rapid City, South Dakota, Tomi Lahren is a former television host and also known for her conservative political commentaries. Having German and Norwegian descent, Tomi Lahren was brought up in a military family. She graduated with a B.A. in broadcast journalism and political science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2014, where she hosted and associate produced the university’s political roundtable show The Scramble, after completing her schooling from Central High School in her hometown. She also served as the first intern in Republican Congresswoman Kristi Noem’s office.

In August 2014, “On Point with Tomi Lahren” debuted on One America News Network. Lahren applied to OANN in a hope to find an internship in political commentary; rather she ended up having her own show offered by the network and moved to San Diego, California to work with the network. Tomi’s video on the 2015 Chattanooga shootings captured some good attention in July 2015. She went on to start a new show with The Blaze in November 2015 and moved to Texas. Tomi is also known for her three minutes segments “final thoughts’ at the end of each show. Although these three-minute segments were referred to as “screeds” or even “rants” at times due to the way Tomi presented them, extremely quick.

Tomi Lahren had a good 26-minutes interview with Trevor Noah on his show “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah”, her appearance on the show has been compared by the critics with that of Jon Stewart’s (SHOW’S FORMER HOST) friendly rivalry with Bill O’Reilly.In a guest appearance on “The ViewTomi Lahren made some comments on women’s “access to abortion” and criticized those who held pro-life positions.

This ended her up being terminated with pay by the owner of TheBlaze. Tomi further went on suing Glenn Beck, the owner of TheBlaze for a wrongful termination which was settled under the agreement of Tomi deleting all the videos that she made with TheBlaze, from her Facebook account. Before joining Fox News as a contributor in August 2017, she started her work in communications at “Great America Alliance”, a sprout of “Great America PAC”. This Pro-Donald Trump Super PAC was chaired, by Newt Gingrich and Rudy Giuliani.

Tomi Lahren as clearly represented herself as a commentator rather than a journalist, who simply present the news. She emphasizes that she make news by commenting as a constitutional conservative. Tomi denies her criticism of being racist and having thoughts on immigration similar to those of Donald Trump. She has been seen as an “anti-feminist who admires strong women”, although she doesn’t consider herself a feminist but certainly supports women empowerment. She is also known to criticize African Americans on various social issues.
