How did Tommy Lee earn his money and wealth?

Thomas Lee Bass is an American Musician and is responsible for the creation of two bands, Motley Crue, for which he has been a long time drummer and also a rap-metal band called Methods of Mayhem. Born on October 3, 1962, in Athens, Greece, he met his future bandmate Nikki Sixx while performing with his then band “Suite 19” in Las Angeles. He was born to parents David Lee Thomas Bass who was an American U.S. Army sergeant, and his mother Vassilikki “Voula” had been a contestant for Miss Greece during the Miss World ceremony in 1960. He was four years of age when he got his first drum. His sister Athena Lee has been part of his solo band KrunK as a drummer and married James Kottak, a drummer in a band called Scorpions.

Lee was extremely fond of artists Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Cheap Trick, Kiss, AC/DC and Sweet when he was young and listened to them every chance he got. He was most inspired by fellow drummers John Bonham, Tommy Aldridge, Alex Van Halen and Terry Bozzio. In 1981 Motley Crue released their first album called “Too Fast for Love.” After that, they released a series of really hit singles, which include “Shout at the Devil” in 1983, “Theatre of Pain” in 1985, “Girls, Girls, Girls” in 1987, and “Dr. Feelgood” in 1989.

In 1999 Tommy Lee formed a band which was called “Methods of Mayhem.” Aside from performing with these two bands, Lee also appeared in albums of some other artists including Stuart Hamm, Rob Zombie, and Nine Inch Nails. In 2002 Lee released his first solo album “Never a Dull Moment.”  In 2006 he formed a new band called Rock Star Supernova. He recorded a second solo album that was released in 2005 and was called “Tommyland: The Ride.”

His autobiography is named Tommyland same as his second solo album. The album served a track to his autobiography. The songs “Tryin to be Me” and “Good Times” were present on the CD track. Tommy has also taken part in a couple of reality television shows, which are NBC’s “Tommy Lee Goes to College” in 2004 and “Battleground Earth” for Planet Green and also featured rapper Ludacris. Nikki Sixx made it public in November 2007 that Tommy Lee would no longer be a part of Mötley Crüe. His manager, Carl Stubner had reportedly forced  Tommy to participate in reality TV shows due to which the rest of his band members sued him, and Lee quit the band. As a result, a long leg of Crüe tour dates was canceled in 2006.

Lee was married to Elaine Starchuk who was his first wife. His second wife was actress Heather Locklear with whom he remained married until 1993. He then married Playboy Playmate Pamela Anderson in 1995 with whom he has two sons. Lee is currently involved with his girlfriend and social media celebrity, Brittany Furlan.
