Travis Tritt was born on February 9, 1963. He is an American music singer, actor, and songwriter. In 1989, He signed a contract with Warner Bros. Records, releasing seven studio albums and an ultimate package of hits for the label in 1999. In the 2000s, he launched two albums on Columbia Records and one for the now-defunct Category 5 Records. Seven of his greatest albums are certified platinum or higher by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA); the highest-certified album of Tritt is It’s All About to Change released in 1991, which is certified triple-platinum.
Tritt has also topped more than 50 times on the charts of Hot Country Songs, including five songs on top position —”Anymore,” “Foolish Pride”, “Help Me Hold On,” “Can I Trust You with My Heart,” and “Best of Intentions”and 15 additional top 10 singles. He also made a guest appearance in the film Fire Down Below, released in 1997 featuring Kris Kristofferson and Steven Seagal. In 1998, Tritt starred in the film Blues Brothers 2000 where he played the character of the Louisiana Gator Boys. Finally, In September 2010, he acted in a movie called Fishers of Men, which is a Christian film.
Tritt married Karen Ryon in 1982. She was his schoolmate. Their marriage lasted for just 2 years and they divorced in 1984. He then married Jodi Barnett who is 10 years older than him. Their relationship ended in 1989.
