‘Bruh’ is the brainchild of Tyler Perry, who serves as its writer, creator, director, and executive producer. Conceptualized as a spin-off to ‘Sistas’, it is a story of four African-American millennials as they navigate life, love, and friendship in their 30s. The comedy-drama highlights the stereotypes faced by Black men in modern America as they explore successful careers and fulfilling relationships.

One of the many shows on BET, which sheds light on the diverse African-American culture, the first season of ‘Bruh’ managed to fit right in. After the conclusion of season 1, the show managed to garner a decent fanbase. Let’s now check out if ‘Tyler Perry’s Bruh’ holds the scope to spawn a season 2!

Tyler Perry’s Bruh Season 2 Release Date:

‘Tyler Perry’s Bruh’ season 1 premiered on May 7, 2020, on BET+. After airing its mid-season finale on July 9, 2020, the series went on a hiatus. It returned with its thirteenth episode on September 10, 2020. It finally wrapped up with its 24th episode on November 12, 2020.

Although the inaugural installment opened to moderate ratings and modest reviews, sources have stated that ‘Bruh’ has secured its second-season renewal. The same sources have also revealed that ‘Tyler Perry’s Bruh’ season 2 will premiere sometime in Spring 2021. We are yet to receive an official confirmation from BET+. We will update this section as soon as we get more updates on the same.

Tyler Perry’s Bruh Season 2 Cast: Who can be in it?

The four main characters in ‘Bruh’ are played by Barry Brewer as a businessman named Johnathan Watts AKA John; Mahdi Cocci as a doctor called Tom Brooks; Phillip Mullings Jr. as Michael Alexander AKA Mike, who is a lawyer; and Monti Washington as Bill Frazier, employed as an architect. We expect all of the aforementioned stars to return in season 2.

The second season should also mark the comeback of Chandra Currelley-Young as Alice Watts (John’s mom), Candice Renee as Regina (Bill’s ex), Alyssa Goss as Pamela (Mike’s crush), Angela Marie Rigsby as Laura (an employee working for John and Alice), Caroline Harris as Valerie (a nurse who accuses Tom of sexual harassment), and Darren Sirell Cain as Peter Promnickle (Regina’s fiance).

Tyler Perry’s Bruh Season 2 Plot: What can it be About?

In the season one finale, Pam is jealous of Andi (special guest star KJ Smith), Mike’s friend and business colleague. She even confronts Andi about her relationship with Mike. We do know that Pam and Mike have had an on-again-off-again relationship. Also, Tom is greeted by an unanticipated guest at his doorstep.

Season 2 might see if the two decide to pursue their romance seriously. Even Bill and Regina’s dynamic has been pretty chaotic, and the next edition is expected to give closure to their story as well. On the other hand, Tom needs to find his work-life balance, which should be covered in the follow-up installment.
