Unanchored Plot: What is it about?

Unanchored is a series about a bunch of friends’ sailing trip with adventures and revelations. The show features eight best friends; Chelsi Pugliese, Barrett Young, Evan Tauber, Danielle McNeil, Max Craddock, Korey Warzala, Vanessa Cavanaugh, and Rachel McGowan.

They all set sail embarking on a life-changing journey, filled with wanderlust and self-discovery. Led by Captain Jack Royds, the larger-than-life skipper, the crew attend exclusive and one of the most desired Floating Festivals, with the name ‘The Bucket Lust’. Around 350 people and 35 twin-hulled ships set sail to incredible, breath-taking locales all over the Bahamas. In the trip which happens once a year, these eight friends are enthused to take up all the work of the crew, like full-time cooking and cleaning, and even hosting their own sails and tending lines. They are enjoying till peaks while taking dips with swimming pigs and stingrays, riding rocket-power jet boards, and partying all night until dawn.

But as it turns out, it is not always smooth-sailing and sunshine for this group of friends. The dark side gets revealed as their friendships are put to the test, the love and romance between the couples are also tested for stability to see if the long-distance relationships could handle 24/7 togetherness. We also get to see fiery exes trying to coexist calmly during their voyage. Among buried secrets, hidden jealousies and hatred, the bubble finally bursts as the suppressed conflicts between the crew take birth.

Everybody on the crew tolerates their flat, boring, mechanical, and uninspiring lives with successful careers only for the reason that at least a few times per year, they get to travel and witness amazing places of the world with their friends and party in spectacular locations.
