Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun Plot:
Life hasn’t been fair to Iruma Suzuki and the fact that he never really refuses polite requests from his parents makes his life even worse. At the age of fourteen, he is forced to pick up several part-time jobs to keep his family afloat and he still becomes a victim of abuse from his parents.
Parallelly, somewhere in the demon realm, a great demon named Sullivan wishes to have a grandchild of his own after his friends keep boasting about their own. Out of desperation, he decides to adopt a human child and is easily able to get his hands on Iruma after bribing his parents. As always, Iruma just agrees with what they want from him and accepts to go with the demon.
With this, Iruma’s new adventure begins in a world where humans are absolutely despised. He is expected to keep his real identity a secret and is always forced to pretend that he is a demon like everyone else in his school. While all the demons show some promising supernatural skills, Iruma gets away with his lack of it by showing some incredible defensive abilities. With time, all the other demons just start assuming he’s freakishly strong and does not want to boast about his abilities by revealing it to them.
Meanwhile, unlike his real parents, Sullivan treats him well and only expects him to attend demon school like all the other kids in their world. He even buys him expensive gifts just to makes sure that he attends school every day. In a world where humans are often feasted upon, Iruma’s life is always in danger, but that itself makes his adventure a lot more exciting and even hilarious.
