Hallmark’s ‘When Calls the Heart‘ is one of the network’s most popular shows with a fervent fan base, known as Hearties. The show has had six seasons till date and is currently airing its seventh season. A lot of Hearties happen to catch the show on Netflix, as they have been doing in the past. Naturally, you might be wondering about when Season 7 is headed to the streaming platform. We have got you covered in that regard.
When Calls the Heart Season 7 Netflix Release Date:
We don’t want to beat around the bush, so let us start by saying that there is a lot of uncertainty regarding when Season 7 of ‘When Calls the Heart’ will be made available on Netflix. This is primarily because Season 6 of the show has not arrived on the platform yet.
Netflix has five seasons of ‘When Calls the Heart’. Usually, they are made available at regular intervals. Therefore, Season 4, which ended in April 2017, was made available on Netflix in December 2017, and Season 5 ended in April 2018. It was subsequently made streamable on Netflix towards the end of December 2018.
Thus, when Season 6 of ‘When Calls the Heart’ wrapped up in June 2019, fans were expecting the show to arrive on Netflix in December 2019 itself. Even if we consider the fact that Season 6 ended in June rather than April, it should still have been made available on Netflix by February 2020, according to the pattern followed by previous seasons. Naturally, fans have taken umbrage to this situation, and have demanded to know when they might expect to see the seasons on Netflix.

However, for now, they have been informed that no date has been set for Season 6 to arrive on Netflix. The fans have also been provided with alternate sources where they can buy the episodes individually. Naturally, the Hearties are not too pleased with the official response.
The reason for the delay and non-arrival of the seasons might be due to some rift between Netflix and Hallmark, as some fans have speculated. However, it is far more likely that an official date has not been announced because Netflix sometimes does not give away the exact dates for a non-Netflix original. With Season 7 airing on Hallmark, there is a good chance that Season 6 might arrive by before summer on Netflix itself. In that case, ‘When Calls the Heart’ Season 7 is likely to release sometime in December 2020 on Netflix.
