Wonder Woman 1984 Plot:

As the title suggests, Wonder Woman 1984 will be set in the ’80s. The movie will see Diana Prince coming into conflict with the Soviet Union during the Cold War in the 1980s. During the same time she finds a formidable adversary in the form of the Cheetah. Reports suggest that the film could also draw its inspiration from George Orwell’s novel, 1984, which is about a totalitarian government slowly taking away the rights of the citizens. The change will also mark a shift from the previous blockbuster’s First World War setting. Another important aspect to the plot is the re-appearance of Steve Trevor.
