Young Sheldon Season 3 Release Date: When will it premiere?

On January 6, 2018, the show was renewed for a second season. The renewal was a given as for its airing season, it was the top show in terms of viewers and was the second best comedy on television just behind the show it is derived from.

“Young Sheldon has made a huge impact on our schedule in the short time it’s been on the air,” said Kelly Kahl, President, CBS Entertainment. “While the show’s DNA is clearly rooted in The Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon has staked out its own place in the TV universe with a unique creative tone, brilliant writing and a gifted multi-generational cast. We can’t wait to see Chuck, Steve, Jim and Todd’s vision for how the Cooper family deals with Sheldon growing a year older…and smarter.”

Young Sheldon season 2 premiered on Sep 24, 2018. The second season was just as successful as the first and we expect season 3 to be renewed soon. If and when that happens, season 3 should premiere in September 2019 in the US and in the UK, an air date in November 2019 seems likely.
