Young Sheldon Season 3 Episode 18 Recap:
After the stunt Sheldon pulls in the last episode, Mary feels that the precocious genius might not be mature enough for college class yet. Tam and the others agree with Sheldon’s parents, and unfortunately, he keeps proving them right.
Elsewhere, Ms. Hutchins gets tackled at the football game. Mary asks her to stay with them until she recovers. This leads to some changes with Hutchins moving into Georgie’s room, who takes Meemaw’s room, for the time being. Meemaw gives him some advice about Janna, saying that she is serious about Georgie. However, until Georgie is married, he does not have any commitments.
It appears that Dale has given Georgie similar advice, and he is close to his ex-wife as well. Connie ends up asking Dale about what’s going on with his ex. However, Dale assures her that she is the only one he has eyes for. Furthermore, he tells her that he’s friends with his ex, just like Connie remains friends with John.
All of this talk from Meemaw has an effect on Georgie, who tells Janna that he feels he should see other women besides her. Sheldon struggles with being out of the college class. However, Hutchins seems to get through to him with a story of two friends who had a falling out and didn’t talk anymore. It results in him apologizing to John. Hopefully, the upcoming episodes will keep charting Sheldon’s character growth.
