How far is a single parent willing to go in order to protect his child? Well, this is the notion that is central to ‘Your Honor,’ in which Bryan Cranston plays a respected judge who attempts to shield his son after he unintentionally kills the son of a mobster in a hit and run. If you’ve kept up with the series thus far, then you know that things have become quite complicated. But does the next episode have any solutions in-store?

Your Honor Episode 3 Spoilers

By the end of episode 2, it seems as though the likelihood of a gang war is quite high. After all, Frankie hypothesizes that Rocco’s death was not a hit and run, it was simply a hit. Jimmy Baxter is quite displeased upon hearing this and even vows to “clean this city up.” Naturally, we can expect that the crime boss and his inner circle will conspire against the Desire gang.

As far as Michael is concerned, it is almost inevitable that he will continue to hide details for the accident to protect Adam. Given how things go south in episode 2, we can only expect the trend to continue next week. In fact, there is a high chance that Nancy Costello will start poking holes at the judge’s story as well. As for Kofi, only time can reveal his fate. However, given that Lee has signed up to help him legally, he could just get acquitted for the crime that he never committed.

Your Honor Episode 2 Recap

Michael approaches Charlie and asks him to get rid of his dead wife’s Volvo, which was involved in the accident. The mayoral candidate then gets in touch with a cop named Rudy, who further delegates this task to the Desire gang. Kofi is a young man who is selected for this job. In the meantime, Michael works hard to establish an alibi for Adam.  Detective Nancy reaches out to the judge and he fabricates a story about how Robin’s car was stolen. The cop vows to locate the vehicle and punish the thief. This is when Kofi is pulled over by other cops who arrest him because he seemingly ran a red light. He is taken to the station and almost secures his release until Cusack stops him.

Frankie tells Jimmy that Rocco’s blood was found on (Adam’s) inhaler but that they are still looking for DNA evidence. At the station, a cop drives the blue Volvo out of holding but a piece of Rocco’s bike falls from the undercarriage. The vehicle is tied to the hit and run and is kept in custody for evidential purposes.  Kofi has been taken to a remote location and a dirty cop asks him about the phone. But the young, black man has no idea about any of this. He is then put in a car and a pipe releases gas in it, rendering him unconscious. In the meantime, Nancy calls up Michael’s house and leaves the information of the car “thief” with Adam, who then relays it to his dad.

Little Mo gets in touch with Kofi in prison and tells him to take the fall for the incident, otherwise, the safety of his mother and family is not guaranteed. So at his court hearing, Kofi declares that he is guilty. But Michael, in good conscience, cannot let the innocent man go to jail and so he approaches Lee to take on the case. She agrees. The father then heads back to court to find his son in an emotional state.
